I am a journalism student and a creative director. I'm passionate about brand storytelling and design and have experience in visual merchandising, customer service, modern selling culture, and video/photo editing.  
 
I strive to stay dedicated and determined to learn in all aspects of media, marketing, public relations, and advertising. I’m currently teaching myself design and editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and InDesign) to further my knowledge in digital design.

Some of my hobbies include reading (currently Hey Whipple, Squeez This by Luke Sullivan and Sam Bennett), watching films and television shows (currently watching The Undoing on HBO), and spending time with friends and family. Occasionally, I edit videos and photos for other creatives (this work is featured in my archive).

I have professional experience in public relations, retail, and banking industries. Having completed a semester-long internship with the boutique public relations firm, Lobeline Communications, and recently starting as the public relations intern for The Brandman Agency, I am constantly improving my writing and PR skills. I can say with confidence that my writing and public speaking skills are two of my most valuable assets.

Other experience in both retail, Lole and Compartes Chocolatier, and banking, J.P. Morgan Chase, have given me more tangible skills. These skills include knowledge of computer programs, Microsft Office and Google Suite, as well as money handling and POS application knowledge.

As a current student, my continuous hunger to learn is everpresent. The courses I’ve taken that are helping me increase and enhance my skillset are Media Law and Ethics, Marketing Consumer Information, Sports Journalism, Public Administration, Writing for Public Relations, Visual Communication, and Intro to Social Media. While completing these courses I’ve maintained a firm position on the Dean’s List for having a GPA of 3.5 and above.
